The creation of a new mezzanine floor has added an extra 10,000 sq ft of space at the St Helens site of The Storage Team.

Kevin Thompson, of The Storage Team, said the space was required after 90% of the first phase of the development at Lea Green Business Park had been filled.

And he revealed further expansion plans:"We plan to complete a further four phases so that our overall supply of storage is in excess of 62,000 sq ft."

He added that further acquisition of sites are planned within the near future to spread the existing brand across the north of England.

Saint Helens rugby league aces Mike Bennett and Ade Gardner performed the opening ceremony.
