Saints players attended the opening night to an innovative business in St Helens. The Storage Team, based in the Lea Green Business Park, attracted more than 20 companies as well as rugby stars, Mike Bennett and Jon Wilkin.

A champagne and canape reception greeted the guests on Wednesday, February 28 as Kevin Thompson explained the benefits of the business.

The unit, which has enough storage space for a rugby pitch, is offering competitive prices and secure offices for most goods.

Kevin said:"We are really looking forward to opening and expanding in St Helens. Our services are open to everyone, whether they are a big operation with lots to store, a small business, residents in the middle of moving home or even someone who just has too much clutter."

Customers can come and go as they please and have full access to the building through a state-of-the-art pin code and automated door system. Each room is individually alarmed, and it is the first and only self storage facility to open in St Helens.

The prices can be as little as £5 + vat a week depending on the size of space needed.
